Accounts Receivable Specialist

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and balance accounts receivable ledger accounts, financial statements, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records within the ERP system.
  • Execute various credit and collection tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with accounts receivable policies and procedures, adhering to both internal and external controls.
  • Assist in identifying potential problem accounts, including those with bad debt, and conduct thorough analyses for fraud detection.
  • Review and assess credit sources, credit files, customer applications, and overdue accounts.
  • Timely monitor and resolve customer deductions.
  • Compile month-end reports for management review.
  • Gather necessary information from credit organizations, banks, and loan associations.
  • Lead special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting is mandatory.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management capabilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Quick adaptability to new information and processes.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is essential.
