About the Role

Gelson's Markets is seeking a highly skilled Customer Experience Specialist to join our team in Encino. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints, and supporting the positive experience of the Gelson's Brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line contact to customers and vendors, communicating with the Executive Office to resolve inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist in answering questions, resolving customer complaints, and acknowledging superior customer service.
  • Support the communities Gelson's serves by assisting with community outreach and engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in the planning, preparing, and administering of weekly and monthly reports to management.
  • Perform special projects and assignments as directed by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years' prior customer service experience.
  • Experience communicating well with customers, management, and other team members.
  • Highly proficient computer skills, including the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Skilled in independently prioritizing, planning, leading, and monitoring multiple projects.
  • Ability to manage time and adhere to deadlines.
