Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold all departmental and property policies and procedures related to guest service excellence.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning of guest accommodations, corridors, and service areas in accordance with established standards.
  • Ensure that guest rooms and public spaces are pristine, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Report any safety concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
  • Maintain adherence to departmental uniform standards.
  • Participate in regular departmental meetings and other scheduled gatherings.
  • Follow established protocols when entering and servicing guest rooms.
  • Perform deep cleaning of elevators and other designated areas.
  • Keep a detailed record of rooms and areas that have undergone deep cleaning.
  • Update room status on Room Attendant sheets accurately.
  • Restock the Housekeeping Deep Cleaner cart with necessary supplies and cleaning agents.
  • Notify the appropriate Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper of any damage or repair needs in guest rooms or hotel areas.
  • Respond to reasonable guest requests or direct them to the appropriate personnel for assistance.
  • Execute all other related duties as assigned while maintaining confidentiality in all company matters.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; six months of prior cleaning experience is preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English is required.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to maintain a consistent pace and quality of work.
  • Ability to recognize situations that require the attention or approval of others.
  • Capacity to learn and adhere to predefined cleaning protocols.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions effectively.
  • Capability to assess the cleanliness of guest areas.
  • Physical ability to perform essential job functions.
  • Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
