Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold all departmental and property policies to ensure top-notch guest service.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning of guest accommodations, corridors, and service areas in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring they are visually appealing.
  • Report any safety concerns to the appropriate supervisory personnel.
  • Comply with uniform standards set by the department.
  • Participate in regular departmental meetings and any additional relevant gatherings.
  • Follow established procedures when entering and servicing guest rooms.
  • Perform deep cleaning of elevators and other designated areas.
  • Keep an updated log of rooms and areas that have undergone deep cleaning.
  • Document room status accurately on designated sheets.
  • Restock cleaning carts with necessary supplies and solutions.
  • Notify supervisors of any damage or repair needs in guest rooms or hotel areas.
  • Address reasonable guest requests or direct them to the appropriate personnel for assistance.
  • Execute other related duties as assigned while maintaining confidentiality in all company matters.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; prior cleaning experience is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English is required.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Effective time management skills with the capacity to maintain quality and pace.
  • Aptitude for recognizing situations that necessitate further notification or approval.
  • Ability to learn and adhere to established cleaning protocols.
  • Capability to follow verbal instructions effectively.
  • Skill in assessing the cleanliness of guest areas.
  • Physical capability to perform essential job functions.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
