The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
  • Experience with tactical processing systems, including installation, deployment, configuration, data flow management, training, operations, and lifecycle support for GOTS/COTS applications and subsystems.
  • Fundamental knowledge of system and user-level operations on Linux and/or Windows platforms (both server and workstation).
  • Familiarity with computer networking is advantageous.
  • Experience with RF systems, including antennas, RF distribution, and demodulation, is a plus.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with contractors and vendors to design and build systems according to specified requirements.
  • Experience in providing engineering and programmatic oversight for the lifecycle support of deployed systems.
  • Strong communication skills to conduct engineering analyses and recommend enhancements to existing communication systems.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
  • Willingness to travel OCONUS for short-term assignments.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Current and active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
