Overview:
Raymond James Financial Incorporated is a leading financial services company seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer for its Independent Contractor Division. As a key member of the ICD leadership team, this role will drive strategic vision and ensure effective operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing large-scale strategic programs, projects, or processes to enhance business growth and profitability.

About the Role:
The Chief Operating Officer will partner with key stakeholders to develop short- and long-term goals and initiatives to achieve strategic vision. This includes developing, managing, and implementing large-scale strategic programs, projects, or processes for ICD, as well as collaborating with peers and leaders across PCG and the firm on strategic initiatives, cross-functional projects, and process improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and profitability
- Collaborating with ICD leaders on regional or divisional profitability and providing leadership
- Supporting recruiting efforts via participation in recruiting meetings, HOVs, regional conferences, and serving as liaison with recruiting representatives from other channels
- Organizing and facilitating periodic divisional director meetings, national conferences, recognition events, and actively participating in conferences and seminars
- Interpreting, applying, documenting, and recommending changes to organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliant and efficient outcomes
- Balancing conflicting resource and priority demands

Requirements:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) required in a related field with a minimum of fifteen (15) years' experience in the financial services industry; with ten (10 ) years of management experience or
- A Master's Degree in a related field with minimum of ten (10) to twelve (12) years' experience in the financial services industry; with eight (8) years of management experience
- Strong business acumen, including knowledge of business management principles, analysis, and interpretation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently, make non-routine decisions, and resolve complex problems

Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include a comprehensive health insurance package, 401(k) matching program, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
