Role Overview

As a Senior Copywriter at Jones Road Beauty, you will be pivotal in developing engaging and persuasive content across various marketing platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to create copy that resonates with our audience, driving both engagement and conversions. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic, start-up atmosphere.

This position will commence on a freelance basis with a specified number of hours per week, with the possibility of evolving into a full-time role based on mutual fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and fulfill all copywriting requirements for Jones Road Beauty.
• Embody and articulate the brand's voice, contributing to the establishment of clear and consistent messaging across all platforms.
• Craft clear, concise, and stylistically appropriate copy for diverse marketing materials, including direct mail, digital ads, emails, SMS, blogs, landing pages, and event literature.
• Design and implement copy for all campaigns throughout the year, encompassing brand initiatives, product launches, collaborations, and special projects.
• Develop copy for unique projects that intertwine Bobbi's personal brand with Jones Road.
• Effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and detail.
• Collaborate with the Brand Marketing team and cross-functional partners in Growth, Retention, and Creative to ensure cohesive and effective messaging across all outputs.
• Receive and integrate feedback from Bobbi and team members with professionalism and a constructive attitude.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 3 years of copywriting experience, ideally within a start-up context.
• Ability to operate independently and manage all copywriting tasks for the organization.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Proven track record of producing engaging and impactful copy across various channels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative spirit.
• Highly self-driven, organized, and adept at managing workloads under pressure.
• A proactive and forward-thinking individual capable of leading projects and ensuring high-quality output that meets team expectations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Demonstrated ability to measure the impact of your work through metrics and results.
