Position Overview
In the role of Senior Copywriter at Jones Road Beauty, you will be instrumental in developing captivating and persuasive copy across various marketing platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to create content that connects with our audience, fostering engagement and driving conversions. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, start-up atmosphere.
This position will commence on a freelance basis, with the possibility of evolving into a full-time role based on mutual fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and fulfill all copywriting requirements for Jones Road Beauty.
- Grasp and embody the brand's unique voice, aiding in the establishment of clear and consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Produce clear, concise, and stylistically accurate copy for diverse marketing materials, including direct mail, advertisements, emails, SMS, blogs, landing pages, and event literature.
- Plan and implement copy for all campaigns throughout the year, including brand initiatives, product launches, collaborations, and special projects.
- Craft and execute copy for unique projects that involve Bobbi's personal brand and its intersection with Jones Road.
- Effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and detail.
- Collaborate with the Brand Marketing team and cross-functional groups including Growth, Retention, and Creative teams to ensure cohesive and impactful messaging.
- Receive and integrate feedback from Bobbi and team members with professionalism and a constructive attitude.
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 3 years of copywriting experience, ideally within a start-up context.
- Ability to work independently while managing all copy needs for the organization.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Proven track record of creating engaging and effective copy across various channels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative spirit.
- Highly self-driven, organized, and capable of managing workloads effectively under pressure.
- A proactive individual with the ability to lead projects and manage communications to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Capacity to operate in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional work.
- Demonstrated ability to measure the impact of your work through metrics and results.
