Welder - Ditch Witch Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Ditch Witch, a leading manufacturer of underground construction equipment. As a Welder, you will play a critical role in the production of high-quality equipment, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and other documents to understand production requirements.
- Set up and operate MIG welding equipment to weld machine components, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
- Use hand and air tools, such as wrenches, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers, to assemble and repair equipment.
- Inspect and test weldments to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with production team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Appropriate MIG welding experience or completion of a formal welding training program.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with variable temperatures, humidity, and noise levels.
- Physical stamina to handle items weighing over 60 pounds and work in a standing position for extended periods.
Our manufacturing plant is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will work alongside a team of experienced professionals. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment, including a welding hood, gloves, and safety glasses, to ensure your safety and well-being.
