Welder - Ditch Witch Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welder I to join our team at Ditch Witch. As a Welder I, you will be responsible for welding components used to build Ditch Witch equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and other documents to understand welding requirements.
- Set up fixtures, mount parts, and perform mechanical assembly using hand and air tools.
- Operate MIG welding equipment to weld machine components and remove components from fixtures for quality checking.
- Use a computer to check part locations, inventory, and routing, and record inventory transactions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Appropriate MIG welding experience or completion of a formal welding training program.
- Pass required entry-level plate test for production welding.
- Excellent mechanical skills, including experience with hand and air-powered tools.
- Strong reading, clerical, and basic math skills.
Manufacturing plant conditions with variable temperature, humidity, noise, and dirt. Personal protective equipment required, including welding hood, gloves, and sleeves, safety glasses, face shields, and hearing protection.
Physical DemandsMedium physical demands, including handling items weighing over 60 pounds, frequent walking, twisting, bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
