Position Overview

Gregory Frencken - State Farm Agent is looking for a motivated and personable professional to fill the role of Insurance Sales Consultant. In this position, you will cultivate and strengthen customer relationships within the community, promoting a range of State Farm products, including auto, home, and life insurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, ensuring follow-up as necessary.
  • Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service, addressing inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy modifications, claims, and billing.
  • Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to inform clients about various insurance options.
  • Collaborate with the agent to set and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Generate leads, arrange appointments, assess customer needs, and promote suitable products and services.
  • Assist the agent in identifying and supporting local community initiatives.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic with a commitment to achieving success daily.

Qualifications
  • Preferred sales experience in outside sales, retail, or telemarketing.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets.
  • Interest in marketing products and services tailored to customer needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Enthusiasm for the role that insurance and financial products play in helping individuals manage risks and achieve their goals.
  • People-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to learn and utilize various computer applications, particularly Windows.
  • Capability to work effectively in a team setting and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in delivering presentations to potential clients.
  • Adept at assessing customer needs and conducting effective interviews.
  • Ability to relate well to customers.
  • Property and Casualty license (must be obtained).
  • Life and Health license (must be obtained).
  • Completion of courses on ethical and customer-centered sales practices is required.
  • Selected candidates are expected to stay current with product changes, licensing, technical developments, and continuing education.
