Pathways Vermont is a dynamic nonprofit agency committed to permanently ending homelessness and offering innovative mental health services. We are seeking a Property Manager to join our Housing team in Northern Vermont.
The Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing 60+ units across 5 counties, working closely with our housing and service teams to address tenant issues, perform regular inspections, and prepare leases. The ideal candidate will have experience in property management, sales, and/or real estate, and be familiar with housing laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee lease ups, move-in, move-outs, and regular inspections
- Manage property maintenance, repairs, and unit turnovers
- Ensure compliance with housing contracts and regulations
- Recruit landlords and units to the program
- Submit rent requests and ensure timely payment
- Organize services to promote tenant retention
- Address tenant and landlord complaints
- Secure and inspect vacant units
- Recruit and direct local contractors and vendors
- Oversee contracted work and ensure timely completion
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or comparable work experience
- Experience in property management, sales, and/or real estate
- Familiarity with housing laws and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills, work ethic, and computer proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
