Emergency Management Specialist

SC&A Inc is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Management Analyst to support FEMA's CBRNE program by providing mission-related support for various government teams and program initiatives.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide analytical and related capabilities associated with CBRNE hazards in the areas of public/responder education/information; response management; response and recovery capability assessment, policy/doctrine, capability-based assessments, and implementation plans to support CBRNE response and recovery.
Responsibilities- Provide analytical and related capabilities associated with CBRNE hazards
- Support FEMA's CBRNE Office with program management and technical assistance
- Evaluate plans, policies, procedures, training, and exercises to enhance FEMA's CBRNE capabilities
- Coordinate with intra and inter-agency stakeholders to establish public education regarding appropriate safety actions in response to CBRNE incidents
- Provide collaborative Federal-level technical assistance in the development and/or refinement of comprehensive plans, policies, and procedures for response and recovery to the effects of incidents involving CBRNE weapons or materials
- Support capability-based assessments of the requirements associated with response and recovery operations to CBRNE incidents
- Support regular stakeholder workshops, meetings, and seminars/conferences in support of FEMA CBRNE program activities
- US Citizen
- Must live in the National Capital Region
- College degree, preferably in a scientific and/or emergency management field
- Five (5) or more years of experience in homeland security, continuity of operations and exercise planning
- Must possess Secret Clearance, at minimum
- Must have experience related to CBRN science, policy, planning, and/or response
- Ability to handle confidential information
