Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Examiner to perform medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

In this role, you will review medical records electronically via a secure web portal and conduct focused, in-person physical exams for each Veteran. Your findings will be documented electronically according to VA requirements.

Please note that you will NOT be making disability determinations; this responsibility lies solely with the United States Veterans Administration. This position is strictly for performing Disability Assessments and does NOT involve patient treatment or medication prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations for 3-5 Veterans per day.
  • Review electronic medical records and document findings accurately.
  • Foster strong relationships with Veterans and provide empathetic care.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license.
  • Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
