Position Summary:

The role of the Systems Analyst is pivotal in enhancing business operations through the assessment, analysis, and refinement of systems. This position necessitates a solid understanding of relational databases, object-oriented programming, and both web and client-server architectures. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience and judgment to strategically plan and achieve objectives.

The IT Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring departmental performance metrics are met, alongside responsibilities such as computer repairs and conducting technical diagnostics as necessary.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison for system identification, evaluation, and resolution of issues.
  • Provide support for the RCC fuel distribution system, including system maintenance, user setup, and update testing.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal IT teams to implement system functionality updates.
  • Conduct User Access reviews for associated systems and users.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with support from internal staff and third-party vendors, identifying necessary modifications to existing applications.
  • Guide business users in the effective utilization of applications and technology.
  • Assist in the redesign and documentation of business processes for new and existing technologies.
  • Create technical documentation for applications, including operations manuals and user guides.
  • Oversee the Change Management process for the RCC application, prioritizing user requests.
  • Attend regular meetings to monitor the progress of change requests and fixes.
  • Review monthly support invoices for accuracy and collaborate with vendors on discrepancies.
  • Support data integrity and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively in accordance with standard operating procedures and customer service objectives.
  • Deliver projects and tasks within established timelines and budgets.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance with service and product deliverables.
  • Maintain regular attendance at the workplace.

Experience and Education:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
