Join our dynamic team where Service is a rapidly expanding sector. As a key contributor, you will provide expert technical assistance for Transformer Services, operating within the US Transformer HUB. Your practical experience and insight into customer requirements will be instrumental in fostering robust client relationships and uncovering new business prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional and professional service, whether remotely or on-site, in critical areas such as installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, advanced services, upgrades, and end-of-life solutions.
- Surpass customer expectations by proactively understanding and anticipating their current and future needs.
- Coordinate logistics for resources and spare parts for all service assignments.
- Execute tasks that require proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, along with technical manuals.
- Perform internal tasks such as bushing connections, lead clearance, and assembly/disassembly of equipment as directed.
- Identify and cultivate potential sales and business opportunities through collaboration across Hitachi Energy.
- Propose enhancements to products and processes to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Embody Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while supporting your colleagues and the organization.
- Operate and maintain Vacuum Oil Processors (VOPs) and oil handling equipment, ensuring accurate completion of processing logs.
- Possess a solid understanding of the operational theory and construction of transformers and related equipment.
- Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant experience or a High School Diploma with 5 years of experience, complemented by technical/vocational training or apprenticeship.
- Willingness to travel domestically is essential for this role.
- Ability to travel up to 85% of the time.
