Job Title: Children's Mental Health Coordinator

Join the HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION team as a Children's Mental Health Coordinator, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of children and families in Texas.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the implementation and management of the interagency process for children and families. As a Children's Mental Health Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective techniques for the Children's Mental Health Unit, identifying existing gaps or challenges, and providing guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the interagency process for children and families
  • Develop interagency processes that align with agency policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with partners to coordinate and lead mental health-focused projects and initiatives
  • Interface with the general public, including children and families, to coordinate, improve, and stimulate interest in the program(s)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in mental health, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. You will also need to be able to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions to address the mental health needs of children and families.
