Job Overview:
Responsible for executing complex preventative maintenance tasks and troubleshooting a diverse range of equipment (including trucks and heavy machinery).

Key Responsibilities:
To succeed in this role, an individual must effectively perform each essential duty. Additional minor tasks may be assigned.


- Conduct repairs on various equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, front-end loaders, yard trucks, farm tractors, forklifts, and company vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair differentials, hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, drives, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems.
- Complete tasks as outlined in the preventative maintenance checklist.
- Maintain accurate records such as work orders, card files, P.M. checklists, and oil samples.
- Service and maintain other equipment such as light plants, water pumps, welders, and more.
- Adhere to site-specific procedures and detailed job descriptions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.


Supervisory Responsibilities:
No supervisory responsibilities are required.

Qualifications:
The following qualifications are necessary to perform this job successfully.

Education:
Not required.

Experience:
Minimum of six (6) years of relevant work experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Ability to meet the physical demands of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and physical examination is required.

Training Requirements:
- RCRA
- HAZWOPER (24 Hour)
- DOT & M2Z (Driver Only)

Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
Proficiency in operating tools, equipment, and procedures used in the repair and servicing of vehicles and machinery. Ability to effectively communicate repair needs, diagnose defects, and utilize fleet maintenance software programs may be required.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
- Respirators (full face OV/AG or half face with face shield)
- Liquid yellow Tyvek suits with sleeves, apron, booties; solid white Tyvek
