Job Description

The Lori Buhagiar Allstate Agency is a leading insurance agency in the area, consistently recognized for growth and customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales and Service Agent to join our team. As a Sales and Service Agent, you will play a critical role in helping our clients secure the best insurance policies to protect them and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients through in-person, online, phone, and written communication.
  • Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotations, and general account support.
  • Actively prospect, round accounts, and solicit increases in existing client coverage, as well as network for new clients and win back previous clients.
  • Obtain the best coverage and rate for insured clients, process quotes, and bind insurance coverage, and follow up as necessary with inspection, photos, and other documentation.
  • Present policies to insured clients and educate them on coverages and rates.
  • Foster and maintain excellent relationships with customers and prospects through regular follow-up, timely quotations, and general account support.
  • Support and prepare clients for renewal and retention, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs.
  • Monitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved, and execute sales activity documentation in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise and answer questions, and participate in formal and informal meetings as needed.
  • Maintain CE and participate in ongoing education and keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.

Qualifications:

  • A Property & Casualty (P&C) Producer License is required for the position, but we can provide guidance on obtaining the necessary license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with peers and clients.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask.
  • A passion for helping others and a drive to succeed.
  • The ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
