Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team at LifeWorks NW. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide comprehensive counseling services to individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions to address substance abuse and addiction
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans
Requirements
  • CADC 1 certification or equivalent national certification
  • Experience working with individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and modalities
