Job Title: Substance Abuse Counselor

BayMark Health Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled counselor to provide individual and group counseling services to patients struggling with opioid use disorder. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in addiction treatment and be able to work effectively with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to assist patients in managing their addiction and achieving long-term recovery.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on addiction and recovery.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in counseling or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in addiction treatment or a related field.
  • Preferred licensure: CAC I, CAC II, or LPC.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
