Compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor Needed

Position Overview:

Our team at BayMark Health Services is seeking a skilled Substance Abuse Counselor to join our Medically Assisted Treatment team. As a Counselor, you will play a vital role in assisting patients through medically assisted treatments and offering techniques for handling opioid addiction.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual initial assessment and evaluation interviews for service eligibility determination
  • Complete Bio-psychosocial assessments
  • Facilitate intakes or assist with the intake process
  • Develop and review treatment plans with each patient
  • Provide individual and group counseling services
  • Coordinate all services throughout treatment

Qualifications:

  • Preferred License: CAC I, CAC II, or LPC
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in counseling or a related field
  • Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals a plus

BayMark Health Services offers a competitive salary range of $27.00 to $28.25 an hour, as well as excellent benefits, including 401K match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and paid time off.
