Compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor Needed
Position Overview:
Our team at BayMark Health Services is seeking a skilled Substance Abuse Counselor to join our Medically Assisted Treatment team. As a Counselor, you will play a vital role in assisting patients through medically assisted treatments and offering techniques for handling opioid addiction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual initial assessment and evaluation interviews for service eligibility determination
- Complete Bio-psychosocial assessments
- Facilitate intakes or assist with the intake process
- Develop and review treatment plans with each patient
- Provide individual and group counseling services
- Coordinate all services throughout treatment
Qualifications:
- Preferred License: CAC I, CAC II, or LPC
- Minimum of 1 year experience in counseling or a related field
- Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals a plus
BayMark Health Services offers a competitive salary range of $27.00 to $28.25 an hour, as well as excellent benefits, including 401K match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and paid time off.
