Job Summary

The Office Nurse Practitioner is a vital member of our healthcare team at Children's Hospital Of The King's Daughters. This role requires a highly skilled and compassionate individual who can provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Performs a wide range of patient care activities, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Demonstrates expertise in pediatric and family nursing, with a focus on providing patient-centered care.
Participates in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.

Requirements

Current State license as an APRN with specialization in Family or Pediatrics.
Current CPR certification required.
3 – 5 years of pediatric experience preferred.
Advanced professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice.

Working Conditions

The Office Nurse Practitioner will work in a normal patient care environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature, and the like. Frequent exposure to communicable disease and moderately adverse working conditions due to performance of certain patient care activities.
