Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and treatment of care for patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating new and existing patient's medical conditions.
  • Conducting follow-up patient care.
  • Ordering and interpreting lab, radiology, and other diagnostic study results.
  • Prescribing and referring patients for consultations when appropriate.
  • Administer and order drugs for patients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year clinical experience in Family Practice or Urgent Care required
  • Master's in Nursing
  • Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Current APRN licensure in Georgia
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration preferred
