Pediatric ICU Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse provides specialized nursing care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. This role requires a strong understanding of pediatric physiology, advanced clinical skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques.
Requirements:
RN License (Iowa or Compact)
BLS
PALS
2 years experience
