Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team at Simon Roofing. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for securing and managing key accounts, developing and executing sales strategies, and ensuring that revenue, margin, and product mix objectives are met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed revenue and margin objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key architects, designers, general contractors, distributors, subcontractors, and end-user accounts.
  • Conduct sales programs and communications aimed at validating SR Products' value propositions with new account prospects.
  • Lead generation and account management to drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
Requirements
  • Three to five years of outside sales experience, preferably in roofing or construction-related sales.
  • Lead generation experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of construction experience or High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of construction or industry experience.
  • Strong skills in listening, organization, sales closing, and customer service.
  • Ability to climb ladders to rooftops.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, with ability to do extensive research on the Internet.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test and background screening.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
