Job Description:

At Regions Bank, we are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Risk Testing Manager to join our team. This role is a critical part of our risk management function, responsible for ensuring the development and maintenance of a strong risk culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead enterprise transactional testing activities to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and processes.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Non-Financial Risk executives to execute the testing program.
  • Understand Regions' strategy, emerging risks, and new initiatives to inform transactional testing priorities.
  • Manage a team of risk testing team leaders and analysts, providing guidance on complex regulatory issues.
  • Mentor and train testing team members to ensure effective engagement and success.
  • Direct reporting and communication on the effectiveness of controls against expected outcomes.
  • Focus on resolving complex problems or transactions, interpreting results against policies, guidelines, or processes.
  • Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure adherence to key controls.
  • Develop open, transparent, and effective relationships with Regions' prudential regulators and Internal Audit.
  • Participate in applicable senior management committees and contribute to Regions' strategic planning process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Eight years of experience in Financial Services.
  • Three years in a supervisory/management role.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies, including Federal Reserve Board (FRB), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), or applicable State Agencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Compliance, Risk Management, or Audit.
  • Relevant, applicable certifications and/or licenses.
  • Advanced knowledge of compliance and operational risks.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to analyze complex organizational and process issues to isolate regulatory or operational risk exposure.
  • Ability to build constructive relationships with risk stakeholders and manage the multi-dimensional nature of both risk and communications.
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive business relationships with internal partners and external regulators.
  • Ability to effectively apply change management principles.
  • Ability to manage, set objectives, prioritize activities and performance, and manage a team of testing analysts.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence others.
  • Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts.
  • Effective negotiating and influencing skills with experience in conveying complex information to general audiences through training materials, written communications, and other means.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills.

This role is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position is incentive eligible.
