We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Royal Caribbean Group. As a key member of our Newbuild Risk Management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management frameworks, identifying and assessing potential risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across Newbuild projects and programs.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure risk standards are met throughout the design and construction phases.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with Newbuild leaders and various departments to develop effective mitigation strategies, including contingency planning and risk transfer mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, internal policies, and legal requirements, and conduct regular audits to assess adherence to compliance standards.
- Support the development of systems and processes to monitor risks in real-time, and provide timely reports to senior management.
- Monitor and review project environments for new risks or changes in the severity of existing risks, and conduct training sessions to educate employees about potential risks and risk management policies.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, business administration, engineering, or risk management.
- At least 10 years of project management experience leading cross-functional projects and programs in risk management.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and quantify risks effectively, including the ability to analyze financial data, market trends, and other relevant information.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to present risk scenarios and updates to executive leaders.
- Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), or Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) preferred.
