About the Job

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work under the direction of a qualified professional nurse, participating in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high client safety standards and a therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Graduation from an approved Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing Program is required.
  • One or more years' nursing experience within the clinical area of service provided by the facility is preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with psychotropic medications and medication administration procedures are essential.
  • The ability to apply nursing standards and practice within a recovery setting is crucial.
  • A valid current practical/vocational nursing license from the state or from a nurse compact state, where applicable, is required.
  • CPR and de-escalation certification are required, with training available upon hire and offered by the facility.
  • First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
