Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will provide skilled nursing services to patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and psychiatric hospitals. You will work under the direction of a professional registered nurse or medical doctor and perform a variety of related services to maintain a therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Skilled Nursing Services
    • Administer medications to patients orally, intra-muscularly, or subcutaneously
    • Monitor effects of medications and record reactions
    • Assist with rehabilitation programming and activities for residents
  • Assist with Patient Care
    • Transport patients to procedures
    • Assist with moving patients
  • Maintain Confidentiality
    • Preserve patient autonomy, rights, and dignity

Requirements

  • Education and Licensure
    • Completion of an accredited licensed practical nursing program
    • Current and unencumbered license in the state of practice
  • Experience
    • At least one year of experience in the last three years
  • Background and Screening
    • Background screening as required by state or client contract
    • Drug screening as required by the contract
