Position Details:

Employment Type: Full Time
Compensation: $25 to $30/hour
Shift Differentials: Additional pay for evenings, nights, and weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patients for skin issues, implementing treatment plans as directed by physicians.
  • Administer and document treatment medications accurately.
  • Maintain detailed records of patient progress, symptoms, and care provided.
  • Communicate effectively with the supervising RN regarding patient care and progress.
  • Prepare reports for the Director of Nursing to support departmental updates and corrective actions.
  • Assist in the management and treatment of various wounds and skin conditions.
  • Ensure effective communication with attending physicians.
  • Facilitate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
  • Conduct compliance rounds and address any relevant issues.
  • Support the Director of Nursing in following up on consultant recommendations.
  • Complete necessary documentation in accordance with regulations.
  • Promote a positive image of the organization through servant leadership.
  • Contribute to committees and collaborative projects.
  • Perform additional duties as required to ensure operational success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact positively with patients, families, and team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution or completion of an approved LPN program.
An active LPN License in the State of Georgia.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversee and guide unlicensed nursing staff.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret safety documents, instructions, and manuals. Proficient in writing reports and correspondence.

Mathematical Skills:
Competence in basic arithmetic and measurements.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems.

Computer Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Physical Demands:
The physical requirements of this role include regular sitting, walking, and occasional standing. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
