Job Title: Treasury Specialist

Job Summary:

The Treasury Specialist plays a vital role in the organization by performing various tasks related to the company's Treasury functions. This role is responsible for receiving, logging, and distributing Finance's mail on a daily basis, researching and coding checks received by the cash management group, and preparing daily cash position reports and organizing cashflow support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, log, and distribute Finance's mail on a daily basis.
  • Prepare daily cash position reports and organize cashflow support.
  • Research and code checks received by the cash management group.
  • Conduct pairoff settlement confirmation with brokers and submit wire requests.
  • Perform low activity bank/liability reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Administer Appraisal payment sites (speedpay).
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, along with at least one year of work experience in a related accounting support role.
  • Prior experience in the mortgage industry and accounting systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with general accounting concepts and banking systems.
  • General knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with accounting tools and software, banking, and imaging software.
  • Basic understanding of the overall mortgage process.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and work well under pressure.
  • Prior experience using document retention software; AIQ preferred.
  • Ethical, with a commitment to company values.
