About the Role

Aston Carter is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Treasury Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our treasury functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mail and Document Management: Receive, log, and distribute finance-related mail and documents on a daily basis.
  • Cash Position Reports: Prepare daily cash position reports and organize cash flow support to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Check Processing: Log and code checks received by the cash management group, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform low-activity bank and liability reconciliations on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Appraisal Payment Administration: Administer appraisal payment sites, including speedpay, to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Administrative Support: Perform other administrative duties as assigned, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or an Associate's degree with 4-5 years of experience.
  • Experience: At least one year of total work experience in a related accounting support role, preferably in the mortgage industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, banking systems, and Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with accounting tools and software, banking, and imaging software.
  • Personal Qualities: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent organizational skills.
