We are seeking a talented and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals and families, working closely with our physicians and nursing team to deliver exceptional patient care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with a 1.0 FTE schedule. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Mental Health Counseling (MHC), or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), and be licensed or able to complete licensing requirements to provide outpatient therapy services in the state of Iowa.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for clients assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists, to ensure continuity of care.
  • Make referrals based on screening protocols and assessed needs of clients.
  • Take responsibility for emergency phone calls and walk-ins as assigned.
  • Participate in organizational Quality Improvement activities and comply with Corporate Compliance processes.
  • Develop new skills in Evidence-Based Practice modalities and accept new responsibilities as program and community needs evolve.
