What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is looking for a Financial Cost Specialist to assist our federal clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive cost models to effectively distribute direct, indirect, and overhead cost pools for interoffice billing related to products and services.

Lead the creation of fee cost models for service agencies, ensuring accurate pricing of products and services to facilitate rate establishment.

Provide insights and share pertinent information with project teams that may influence or enhance ongoing tasks.
Support project managers with project oversight activities, including status updates and forecasting.
Conduct thorough data analyses and survey research.
Oversee, train, and mentor team members throughout the engagement lifecycle, evaluating staff performance during engagement reviews.

Foster strong working relationships with clients to boost customer satisfaction and collaborate with client management and staff to deliver engagement services.

Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposals, capture strategies, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and other thought leadership materials and training.


What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET federal security clearance
Bachelor's degree; OR FOUR (4) years of experience related to cost analysis or financial assessment
ONE (1) or more years of experience in cost analysis or financial evaluation
Experience working independently in client-facing roles

What Would Be Nice To Have:
Master's degree
Experience in Activity-Based Costing (ABC), fee structuring, modeling, and financial assessments.

Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and presentation abilities.
Strong customer-centric approach with the capability to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Familiarity with cost estimation frameworks, modeling and simulation methodologies, and operations research techniques, particularly with statistical data analyses. Proficiency in ABC software, such as SAS and CostPerform.
Experience with statistical-regression analysis tools, such as R.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite:
Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Project.
Ability to operate independently or as part of a project team.
