As a key member of the Multi-Color Corporation team, the Flexographic Printing Press Operator plays a vital role in the manufacturing of high-quality printed labels. This position requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the highest level of product quality.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Press Equipment
    • Operate flexographic printing presses to produce printed labels in accordance with customer specifications.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
    • Perform daily housekeeping assignments to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Conduct quality checks to ensure product specifications, visual, and functional checks are met.
    • Complete all required quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard.
  • Process Optimization and Efficiency
    • Optimize press make-readies to ensure efficient production runs.
    • Complete all required equipment maintenance duties to minimize downtime and ensure optimal press performance.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless production operations.
    • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • 1+ years of experience as a printing press operator or related field.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
