About the Role

The Content Acquisition Manager will play a key role in fostering relationships with our Japanese partners and promoting our brand. You will work closely with internal teams across Business Affairs, Marketing, and Legal to secure content and grow our distribution partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate deal terms with Japanese and international partners/licensors to secure contents.
  • Communicate with Japanese and international partners/licensors regarding production schedule.
  • Explore opportunities to grow and foster distribution partnership.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure contractual obligations are performed.
  • Analyze industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Implement solutions and reporting summaries.
  • Assess content value.
  • Manage digital assets and marketing materials.
About You

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a passion for anime, Japanese culture, and the entertainment industry. You should have:

  • 5+ years of Agency or Entertainment based account management experience.
  • Experience working with Accounting, Royalty Statements, Production, Marketing.
  • International experience, operating in an asynchronistic work environment.
  • Service-oriented mindset.
