Associate Immigration Attorney

We are seeking a qualified attorney for a promising Associate Immigration Attorney role within a prestigious law firm that offers significant opportunities for professional advancement. Key Responsibilities
- Formulate strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS testimonies.
- Represent both non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
- Oversee a diverse caseload effectively.
- Conduct intake sessions with detained individuals at various facilities.
- Prepare a wide range of immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
- Review immigration applications and make necessary modifications.
- Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations regarding changes in immigration legislation.
- Engage with potential clients for strategic immigration consultations and devise appropriate strategies.
- Provide legal analysis to clients to identify potential benefits for their cases.
- Draft and submit legal briefs for various immigration matters.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Immigration Law.
- A collaborative team player willing to assist and strategize with colleagues.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to advance legal cases and manage a diverse caseload.
- Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian applications, EOIR processes, Detained cases, Citizenship, and other USCIS submissions.
- Familiarity with Case Management Software is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
The Matian Firm offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $125,000 annually, along with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
