About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Analyst to join our team at Invesco. As a Performance Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping us understand our fund results relative to peers and indexes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities to streamline existing business processes by automating recurring and ad-hoc analyses into stable, repeatable reports, metrics, and dashboards.
  • Leverage automated tools to efficiently source, cleanse, merge data and calculate analytics.
  • Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret anomalies and patterns in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and resolution of trends and troubleshoot issues.
  • Build, maintain and enhance accurate interactive dashboards and static reports that are easily absorbed by colleagues with varying data literacy to empower decision making.
  • Evaluate output to ensure meets stakeholder requirements and summaries key findings.
  • Build and maintain local data models as needed while subsequently partnering with Technology engineers to transition to firm-wide data repositories as processes become mature.
  • Support projects to test and reconcile statistics in data repositories, having a clear understanding of requirements, legacy/future methodologies and reconcile to source system.
  • Identify and recommend potential enhancements.
  • Advise on the latest data tools & techniques and new features available in latest releases of the tools we currently use.
Requirements
  • The ideal candidate should have a BS and/or MS in areas such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Science or similar.
  • Or at least 4 years' worth of work experience in analyzing data.
  • Strong exposure with analyzing large quantity and variety of data.
  • Intermediate knowledge of a no-code data analysis tool such as Alteryx or programming language for data analysis like SQL, Python, SAS or R.
  • Data visualization experience using Power BI, Tableau or any other visualization tool is an advantage.
  • Experience partnering with IT engineers to design data repositories and pipelines desirable.
  • Passionate about data and turning into information
  • Optimally manage multiple deadlines and have a strong attention to detail.
  • You are an independent self-starter, positive can-do attitude that overcomes challenges and barriers.
  • Able to generate innovative ideas with a passion for identifying/implementing sound and pragmatic solutions.
  • Strong diplomacy skills to foster positive relationships with cross-functional and cross-regional project teams both in-person and remotely.
  • A have a high degree of curiosity and a desire to learn, including taking on results-oriented new assignments.
