About the Role

Schneider Electric Co. is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Representative to join our Industry Services team. As a Field Service Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' equipment, providing exceptional service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing, installing, and repairing customer equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Performing warranty work and start-up service to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Commissioning and testing Schneider Variable Frequency Drives to ensure proper operation and functionality.
  • Providing technical support and training to customers and internal stakeholders on product service, applications, and troubleshooting.
  • Documenting all required information for each site, including technical reports and service records.
Requirements
  • Vocational education, military training, or transferable experience in electronics, electrical theory, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of relevant mechanical, electrical, and/or power distribution service experience, with technical proficiency in electronic/electrical component theory.
  • Experience writing reports and presenting information to managers, clients, and customers.
  • The ability to calculate figures and amounts, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Experience in testing, maintenance, and/or upgrades in areas such as low or medium voltage switchgear, transformers, relay protection systems, and control systems.
  • The ability to interpret blueprints and other service documents, including electrical drawings.
  • The capacity to move service equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
