Building Support Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Building Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide support to our students, staff, and facilities team to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist staff in monitoring the cafeteria and playground to ensure student safety and well-being.
- Maintain good discipline within assigned areas and promote a positive school culture.
- Assist in keeping assigned areas looking orderly and tidy.
- Provide supervision and protective security for school buildings and grounds.
- Enforce school rules and regulations while respecting the legal rights of all individuals.
- Initiate preventive measures to reduce delinquent acts and school rule violations.
- Assist with emergency situations as directed by administration.
- Provide personal visibility and supervision in hallways and throughout the building.
- Report unauthorized persons on school premises to administration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and think critically.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures.
- Presentation of a professional, courteous, and tactful image and representation of the district in a positive manner.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with students, parents, and district staff.
Monday - Friday, 10:45 AM - 1:30 PM.
Compensation:$12.55 per hour.
