Responsibilities of a Certified Medication Technician

  • Administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards
  • Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as directed
  • Provide personal care and hygiene services to residents
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including serving meals and ambulating patients
  • Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and recording intake and output information

Qualifications

  • Licensure as a Medication Aide in the state of Kentucky
  • Current and unencumbered licensure
