Responsibilities of a Certified Medication Technician
- Administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as directed
- Provide personal care and hygiene services to residents
- Assist with activities of daily living, including serving meals and ambulating patients
- Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and recording intake and output information
Qualifications
- Licensure as a Medication Aide in the state of Kentucky
- Current and unencumbered licensure
