Product Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager to join our team at Macy's. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for driving the development of our products from concept to delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Product Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals and technical requirements.
- Product Discovery: Drive product discovery to identify customer problems and develop solutions that meet their needs.
- Customer Needs Synthesis: Gather customer needs and synthesize them into technical requirements.
- Communication: Communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to stakeholders across the organization.
- Backlog Management: Maintain a healthy backlog of groomed, insight-driven user stories.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including developers, engineers, QA, and operations, to ensure successful product delivery.
- Technical Decision Making: Participate in engineering and analytical discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to product features.
- Risk Management: Recognize, evaluate, and tackle risk to ensure successful product delivery.
- Documentation: Own the creation and maintenance of product documentation.
- Market Research: Collaborate to conduct market research to identify gaps and conduct capability analyses.
- Product Management Experience: 2+ years of product management experience, with a focus on driving growth and engagement.
- Technical Development Experience: 3+ years of technical development experience, preferably with a focus on collaborative Microsoft Technology solutions.
- SCRUM/Safe/Agile Experience: Proven experience working in an Agile environment, including defining and documenting product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and ability to balance business needs against technical feasibility and complexity.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Collaboration Skills: Customer-centric and experienced with successful cross-functional collaboration.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Attention to detail, strong documentation, organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
