Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders in students. We are looking for a professional who is committed to providing exceptional services and supporting the communication needs of our diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate students' communication abilities and identify areas of need through thorough speech and language assessments.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Provide Direct Therapy Services: Offer direct therapy services to students with diverse communication needs, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with Educational Teams: Work with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom and educational settings.
  • Monitor Progress and Adjust Plans: Track student progress, collect data, and adjust intervention plans as needed to promote growth and achievement.
  • Provide Consultation and Training: Offer consultation and training to school staff on strategies for supporting students with communication disorders.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Keep accurate and confidential records of assessments, progress reports, and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • California State Licensure: Hold valid California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence: Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • California Educator Credential: Hold a California Educator Credential in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school or educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong Knowledge and Skills: Possess strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and best practices in speech-language pathology, as well as excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
