Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Join Summit Hospitality Group as a Front Desk Agent and become an integral part of our team. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized guest service and respond to guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Process guest payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a high level of cash handling accuracy.
  • Assist with room assignments, key card programming, and other front desk operations.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments, including housekeeping, engineering, and food and beverage, to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a positive first impression for our guests.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a front desk or guest service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems, including property management systems and point-of-sale systems.
