Your Opportunity: As a Licensed Customer Service Specialist within our Participant Services division, you will have the chance to leverage your expertise in a firm that prioritizes your growth in a collaborative and development-oriented environment.

In this position, your contributions will significantly influence the lives of clients; our aim is to provide exceptional service and to foster trust and loyalty among our participants by asking the important questions.

Your daily responsibilities will involve handling inbound calls from participants of employer-sponsored retirement plans, offering guidance and solutions, as well as options for long-term investments.

As you enhance your knowledge and skills through continuous classroom and practical training, you will become a subject matter expert on retirement products and services, advising participants in retirement plans to identify their needs and propose solutions that can transform their futures.

Compensation: In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.



What You Have: If you are not yet a finance expert, that is acceptable. Individuals from various backgrounds have achieved great success here at Charles Schwab. This position offers a blend of instructor-led classroom training, mentoring, and on-the-job learning during your initial year.

Required Qualifications:

  • Series 7, 63 (or equivalent), required with registration in all 50 states
  • Flexibility to work Monday-Friday anytime between 6:30am - 7:00pm Local AZ Time based on contact center needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong candidates will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for the consultative process when recommending suitable solutions while educating our participants.
  • Exceptional listening skills to analyze account information and better understand client needs.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience using computer applications in a professional or academic setting.
  • Focused analytical skills and attention to detail to comply with policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ability to adapt and implement changes as market and business conditions evolve.
  • Open to mentoring and feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
