We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Surgery Technician to join our team at Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital in Portsmouth, NH. As a key member of our surgery department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities- Assist our surgeons with surgical procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service, educating clients on their pets' conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, ensuring seamless communication with our veterinary team.
- Perform venipuncture, restraint, and other essential tasks with precision and care.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient in venipuncture, restraint, and other essential tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
- Fundamental knowledge of Windows-based computer programs.
- Ability to recognize and seek guidance in client-related cases where protocol does not apply.
