Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Forms Specialist to join our team at Homesite Insurance. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing and developing forms to comply with state insurance requirements and support our Personal Lines Property business and client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create system-generated images/forms using specialized forms development software/systems.
  • Review statutes and case law, and research industry language necessary for the introduction of policy forms for state expansion, new products, and product enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain best practices for form design, standards, and functions, and serve as a resource to the organization on forms protocol.
  • Communicate policy contract and underwriting intent for all enterprise Property products to key stakeholders, including Operations, Claims, Legal, Consumer Affairs, and DOIs.
  • Assist with Department of Insurance market conduct examinations and inquiries.
  • Track and manage end-to-end development workflow from receipt of development request through internal client/user acceptance.
  • Operate with autonomy in determining priority of development requests and driving development execution in accordance with project specifications while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of end product.
  • Perform administrative functions to support the maintenance and oversight of core operational tools, including the enterprise master forms list by operating company and homeowners product.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of P&C Insurance contract experience, ideally within the property claims or property underwriting functional areas.
  • Consistently meets deadlines and adapts to change.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and collaboratively within a small unit as well as across all areas of the organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, multitasking, and attention to detail skills needed.
  • Demonstrated organizational, desk, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills needed.
