We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Cook to join our team at The Greenbrier Hotel. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for assisting the Pastry Chef in the preparation of desserts and completing assignments as scheduled.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Pastry Chef in dessert preparation
Complete assignments as scheduled, including station prep and station service
Complete tasks with direction of the lead and according to recipes or information provided
Obtain necessary utensils, tools, and supplies required

Requirements:

Previous experience working in production kitchen
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
A.O.S. or A.S. Degree in Culinary Arts or Completion of a 3-year Pro-Start Program or 3 years experience in an equivalent standard food production operation
Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English

Work Environment:

Indoors
Heated
Below Ground

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift over 41 pounds in various positions
Continuous standing, frequent walking, bending, and overhead reaching
