- Regularly engage with stakeholders to understand and influence requirements, anticipating their evolution over time. Present progress updates to stakeholders periodically.

- Maintain regular communication with FPGA vendors to enhance performance capabilities.

- Oversee board bring-up activities, system-level integration, verification, troubleshooting, and field testing.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- At least 15 years of experience in FPGA/Digital Logic Design, with a minimum of five years in at least two of the following areas: (1) implementing and testing custom RTL using VHDL, (2) PCB design, layout, and bring-up, (3) embedded C/C++ and common scripting languages, and (4) signal integrity.

- Preference will be given to candidates with experience using the Mentor Graphics suite of tools.

- Familiarity with Xilinx Virtex FPGAs, particularly UltraScale+ models, is preferred.

- Candidates with experience in high-speed data links, high-speed SERDES, and modern memory architectures such as DDR4 will be favored.

- While not mandatory, familiarity with communication networking protocols such as Ethernet, Generic Framing Procedure (GFP), and Optical Transport Network (OTN) is advantageous.
